Davenports Web Payment Guide
This page will explain how to use Davenports Web Payments, a system that lets you pay your Davenports invoices online.
There are three ways to enter the Web Payments system:
- By clicking on a 'Pay your Davenports invoice online' button or link on a Davenports website,
- By following a link in an email to pay your invoice online in full,
- By following a link in an email to pay part of your invoice online.
If you followed a link to pay your invoice online in full, you will automatically be taken to the PayPal website to complete your payment. For help, see the help with PayPal section.
Otherwise, you will see the following screen:
- If you followed a link to pay part of your invoice online, your invoice reference will have been automatically entered for you.
Otherwise, please enter your invoice reference in the top box. This is a six-digit number found at the top right hand side of your invoice under 'Invoice No.' or 'Doc No',
- Next, please enter the amount you wish to pay in Pounds Sterling (e.g. £10.52 or 10.52),
- Click 'Pay Now'.
You will be informed of any errors in red text. Correct the errors and click 'Pay Now' again.
Davenport Web Payments will then take you to PayPal to complete your purchase.
Help With PayPal
You will now be on the PayPal website, as shown below:
If you already have a PayPal account and wish to pay using that, view existing PayPal account.
If you do not have a PayPal account, click 'Continue' on the left hand side of the page underneath 'Don't have a PayPal account?'. You will see the following page:
At this stage, PayPal will allow you to create an account with them. PayPal accounts are free and allow you to pay future invoices more quickly. If you are likely to pay Davenports invoices in future using the online system, we recommend creating a PayPal account.
If you do wish to create an account, fill in your payment information and click 'Save your information with PayPal'. PayPal will guide you through the process of creating an account.
If you do not wish to create an account, fill in your payment information and click 'Review Order and Continue'. You will see the following page:
Please take this opportunity to ensure you have entered the correct payment amount, invoice reference, credit/debit card details and postal address. Then click on 'Pay £Amount Now'. You will see the following screen:
If your transaction was not successful, PayPal will inform you of this. You should try the transaction again with a different payment method, or contact Davenport Enterprises to make the payment.
If your transaction was successful, PayPal will also email a copy of your receipt to the email address you entered.
Congratulations! You've made a payment with Davenport Web Payments.
Existing PayPal Account
Enter your PayPal account details and click 'Log In'. You will see the following page:
Please take this opportunity to ensure you have entered the correct payment amount, invoice reference, credit/debit card details and postal address. Then click on 'Pay £Amount Now'. You will see the following screen:
If your transaction was not successful, PayPal will inform you of this. You should try the transaction again with a different payment method, or contact Davenport Enterprises to make the payment.
If your transaction was successful, PayPal will also email a copy of your receipt to the email address you entered.
