As far as I am aware Margaret, there is no general email address for Ty Glas, your best bet would be to call them, you can look up the telephone number you require from the HMRC website and click on Contact Us at the top of the page.

Your post was most interesting as were the revenues regarding tax codes. Since retiring four months ago, I’ve had eight different codes from three different offices and don,t believe the revenue can blame that on thier new computer.The left hand clearly doesn’t know what the right hand is doing and I fail to understand why three offices issuing different codes is either necessary or prudent as confusion and inacuracy is the end result.

Hi Peter - I would contact the National Advice Service on 0845 010 9000 and give them your VAT Number they’ll be able to tell you who will be dealing with your deregistration - once your deregistration has been processed you should receive a brown coloured VAT return this is your final returnit will also show the period as being “9999″
